On arrival in Kathmandu you will be met at the airport by our highly experienced guides, and rest assured you will be welcomed with exuberance. Following meet and greet, you will drive 30 minutes to the Hotel. This short distance drive will take you through the heart of the city where you will see the hustle and bustle of Kathmandu and capture a glimpse of the local culture.
The vibrant and lively atmosphere of Kathmandu is one of a kind. The city buzzes with traffic through narrow winding streets, rice and lentils are laid out to dry in marketplaces, ancient temples are strung with bright-coloured decorations and the shops display Nepalese, Tibetan and Indian artefacts, woodcarvings, handicraft and an assortments of unique clothing and apparel.
Once you have arrived at the hotel, time is allowed to relax following the journey and you will be able to explore the abundance of places in Kathmandu. This is the perfect opportunity for wanderlusts to discover the local culture and meet the indigenous people of Kathmandu who are friendly and welcoming individuals.
Your overnight stay will enable you to acclimatise. You will be able to prepare your trekking equipment, shop for provisions and carry out the final planning for the route you will embark upon in the Helambu region.
