Additional Information

This trek starts after a day in Kathmandu to acclimatise, followed by a trip by bus to Dunche. Naya Khang (5,800 meters) is one of the less climbed trekking peaks and does not require technical experience. However, a good level of fitness will increase the climbers' chances of success. There will be a team of Climbing Sherpas to guide and assist the group as necessary and porters to manage the equipment and supplies. The trek into the mountain takes you through varying terrain, fabulous scenery and some wonderful villages along the Langtang Valley, one of Nepal's most beautiful and isolated regions. The views from high camp and above are quite breathtaking, with snow topped mountains as far as the eye can see.For those keen on even more adventure, it is possible to try white water rafting as part of the trip before your journey back to Kathmandu. This will take place under instruction and we can accommodate those with no previous rafting experience. It is a great way to relax after the rigors of the climb and to meet the people in this region, as well as to see the wildlife living along the river.
