Additional Information

The Annapurna area is a popular area unsurprisingly because of it's outstanding beauty. You will arrive in Kathmandu, have a day to sightsee and shop as well as check equipment before travelling to Pokhara the second capital of Nepal.

After a day in Pokhara enjoying the lake and local cafes and shops the trek will begin. The route takes you through villages, forests and open scenery as you steadily make your way up to Annapurna Base Camp. The route allows ample time for acclimatisation as well as time to enjoy the stunning scenery, the villages and local people. Machhapuchhre is one of the most beautiful mountains in this area and there will be clear views of this along the way.

From Annapurna Base Camp you will cross the glacier to reach Tent Peak and from there climb this beautiful and challenging mountain. From the summit you can enjoy stunning views of the Annapurna Sanctuary and the impressive Annapurna mountain range.

Following the trail leading to Tent peak high camp will take the group onto snow and although this is not a long day the gain in height will be significant and there is time once at high camp to rest and relax.
